These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website visatask.com and the application at app.visatask.com (collectively, the "Service"), operated by VisaTask ("we," "us," or "our"), a business registered in the State of New Mexico, doing business as VisaTask. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
The Service is designed for immigration lawyers, visa agencies, and document service providers. By using the Service, you represent that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal authority to enter into these Terms.
To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

You retain ownership of all data, documents, and content you upload to the Service ("Your Data"). By uploading Your Data, you grant us a limited license to process, store, and display it solely as necessary to provide the Service. We will not use Your Data for any purpose other than operating the Service.
The Service includes automated document processing features such as OCR extraction and classification. These features are provided as tools to assist your workflow and do not constitute legal advice or verification. You are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying all information extracted or classified by the Service.
The Service is currently in beta. Features may change, be added, or be removed without notice. We provide the beta Service on an "as is" basis and make no guarantees regarding availability, accuracy, or completeness during this period.
The Service is a case management tool. Nothing provided by the Service constitutes legal advice, immigration advice, or a recommendation regarding any visa application or legal matter. You should not rely on the Service as a substitute for professional legal judgment.
Access to the Service during the beta period is provided at no cost. We reserve the right to introduce paid plans in the future. We will provide reasonable notice before any pricing changes take effect.
The Service, including its design, code, features, and branding, is owned by VisaTask and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our intellectual property except the limited right to use the Service as described here.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, VisaTask shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless VisaTask and its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, upon reasonable notice. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We will make Your Data available for export for a reasonable period following termination.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New Mexico, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in New Mexico.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
